i am sooo crushing on jennifer lopez lately. she looks very very pretty eh! i just can't get enough of her. i was never a fan of her, but my gosh, when i saw her in AI season 10, nagustuhan ko sya talaga. she is very nice, tapos funny, witty, crazy and really very charming. sobrang ganda lang. effortless talaga! lookie here, this is one of my favorite jlo look in AI.

i think this was when she cried during one of the auditions at new orleans leg. pretty no? umiiyak na, sobrang pretty pa rin? grabe.

anyways, this season's top 24 contestants have already been revealed! who would have thought that they would still create a buzz despite the fact that simon is no longer around? diba, diba, diba? in all honesty, na enjoy ko elimination this season. na carried away ako many times with jaycee badeaux, chris medina and paris tassin to name a few. awww. sooo unexpected!

met up with ninang emee earlier. she picked me up from work and we headed to cafe via mare for lunch. we were supposed to eat at chef laudico but i have been craving for yummy puto bungbong so i insisted that we go to via mare instead. hay. love it there talaga if only for bibingka and puto bungbong. yumm! pero syempre, since lunchtime ito, we had our usual  feast of cholesterol. bwahaha.

anyway, ninang emee and i used to eat out every now and then especially if may present sya for me. but my gosh. it is sooo different now. aside from the fact na super duper busy sya with her business eh hindi na kami ni russel ang bida sa kanya  ngayun! she met up with me because she handed me sophie's birthday present. she was out of the country kasi last weekend. this is what she got for pumpkin:

ri had to rant and she needed somebody to listen to her. off we went to talk about it over crepe. okay, we did not just listen. we did more than that. --- hey, we were being supportive, listening is not enough!  hehe.

and oh, i almost forgot. thank you pancake house for always welcoming us with open arms, feeling namin laging naka reserve for us (exclusive ha) ang store nyo. lol.

morning sickness ver2.0

for the past weeks, getting up early for work has always been a challenge. i am always tempted to call in sick. ohgosh. this. habit. must. end. seriously. or not. bwahaha.

this morning is no different. woke up late and my morning sickness almost got the better of me. haha. buti na lang julie was there to remind me that we have a dialog discussion around 10-ish. haynako.

yes, i made it on time, and no i am not pregnant! lol.

the morning after

sophie went wild, (or should i say mommy went wild) upon seeing the gifts she got on her birthday. ohboy! too many cute dresses, very nice toys and some moohlah! haha. super touched ako talaga. i feel sooo loved, sobra! here is sophie checking on her gifts the following day:

some me time

finally had some well deserved me time, yehey! i went to dutchess haven nail salon and spa to pamper myself. me, very happy! it was my first time there. usually when i wanted to get some feet loving scrub, i go to mikaela across the office. i was surprised to see how pretty the salon/spa was. it has been open for, like, a year now but i never really thought of trying their service until last saturday.

the hubby and the bebe dropped me off the dutchess around 3pm. i went up the salon/spa not expecting anything grand or extraordinary. pero in fairness, the moment i entered the door, what greeted me was this lovely reception with a white-blue-purple color scheme plus this peppermint, vanilla smell. yum! tapos the inside naman of the spa had a black-white-blue green color scheme. nice to look at talaga ang white. very relaxing. i knew right away that i will get the much needed r&r i wanted even just for a couple of hours!

i had mani/pedi and hand and foot spa! happiness! what irked me lang was, yes, the place was wi-fi equipped but  not working! major fail! also, a bit pricey but hey, the place naman was really nice so i dont mind paying. anyhow, will surely comeback to try some waxing and facial. haha.

milkita for the win!

yayyyy! sophie won the milkita birthday treat promo. it came as a surprise, really. i just learned about their promo last week and decided to join, wala naman mawawala although i must admit that i was never lucky when it comes to promos or raffles until now. goodness! you see, all i did was like their facebook page and submit an entry with sophie's birthday party details. three days after, i received an email from them asking for some more details and a copy of sophie's birth certificate so they can validate the birthdate. and then yesterday, a fellow n@wie messaged me and congratulated me because apparently, sophie won the promo. i was like, seriously???? ohgosh! happiness!

already received confirmation from milkita and hubby will arrange pick up of the goodies so we can include in the lootbag for sophie's birthday on sunday. sobrang happy lang, diba?

my space

hmm. let me share with you my little corner at the office. you see, we have this open seating arrangement at work. not the usual office cubicle type, more like a call center set-up. take a look:

the first rack on the right is mine. neat, yes? haha. wait until you see what's inside. (no, am not gonna show you that!) we have pretty long table with a really comfy chair. the place really looks nice and mabango no? here is the close up of my work station.

how cute! clutter-free diba? this is really sooo not me. haha. you see, four months ago, we were asked to clean our work station because the ceo will be at the office. as in we have to get rid of all the pos-its, photos, bears, vases and all what-have-yous if di rin lang work related. so dapat notebook, pen and phone lang. you know what i did? i kept everything inside the locker. ha! goodbye clutter! ayun, 4 months na malinis table ko, 4 months na rin all the stuff inside my locker. yehey!

anyways, gosh! i am killing time at work. i can't seem to find my mojo to fininsh this presentation i am working on. anobaaaa! i feel sooo tamad talaga. okay. back to work now. byei.

uh-oh

hay. my little girl isn't officially a toddler yet but she acts like one already! she  likes playing with my company id. she would wear it while she digs my stuff. when you try to stop her, she would scream ma-ma! ohgosh. she always, always gets away with it. she would throw my crackberry, i mean my blackberry, and she would go gaga over my cards, my keys and my kikay kit!

well, okay na rin because she only gets to do it on weekends. haha. her daddy has a work on saturdays eh so just to get even with me since i have the luxery of getting up late on that day, he would bring sophie sa bed to wake me up and she would start making some goo-goo-gahhh-mama sounds and she will not stop unless i give her my bag and my phone!

and oh, another thing, it is sooo hard na to say goodbye to her when i am leaving for work in the morning. marunong na humabol. so i would ask the yaya to carry her and go with me hanggang ground floor. i am sooo used na playing peek-a-boo with her while walking no! haha.

wanted perfect pedia

i have been looking for a new pedia for sophie. i really wanted to transfer her to st. lukes global city because we live like, 5 minutes away and it would be very convenient especially during emergencies and all. problem is, i couldn't find any pedia for her. i opted to stick with dr. ds even if i have some issues with him. it was only over the weekend that i decided to seriously look for a new one.

last night, i decided to ask for pedia reco from my fellow nawies. good thing tricia was online at the time and she recommended her kids' pedia, dr. vienne saulog. i did not waste any more time so this morning i decided to give the clinic a call to inquire on the schedule and since  i was on leave from work, i asked the yaya to prepare sophie's stuff so we could go and have her checked.

the minute i stepped in to her clinic, good vibes agad. jen, the secretary was super nice and very accommodating (unlike the other secretary from 6th floor na super difficult to talk with that is why i didnt bother dropping by, went straight to 7th floor) there were a couple of patients pa before our turn so i kinda made chika with jen muna. brief backrounder as to why we are switching pedia and some getting-to-know- sophie questions.

i was very pleased and impressed with the clinic. super neat and pretty and looks mabango. i fell inlove immediately with the place. okay talaga yung bago, wala pa masyado bacteria around. haha. sophie felt at home agad. she liked the place, i can tell. her yaya liked it too. who wouldn't?

when it was our turn to meet up dra. vienne face to face, i felt relaxed and at ease. she is sooo nice. she calls sophie soph and she has this endearing way in dealing with kids. sobrang relax lang. she undressed sophie and checked her reflexes. first time to talaga because sophie didnt get any of these before. i was very very happy and satisfied with the way she explains things i told her hindi ako yung hands on mom who monitors everything and little thing na napapansin kagad. hindi ako maquestion  unless i was asked. so when she started asking me if sophie can walk alone na and how many words can she actually utters, or if she can do this and that --- i knew right away that i made the right decision.

walking on sunshine

sophie can walk all by herself na! yey! she started early, actually until she got off-balanced when her dad tried to have her walk alone. after that, ayaw na nya. i was kind of worried because she will be turning one na soon and yet tamad pa to walk. ang saya because now, she walks with gusto and she looks sooo cute. haha. good thing we have a huge open field/park so that really became her practice ground. madapa man sya, not that hard naman babagsakan nya.

i am sooo happy for her. she really enjoys walking eh. look at how cute she is. her yaya took all these photos while they stroll around the park with some of sophie's friends from the condo.

great job, sweetie! please, please be in the mood and walk on your birthday! haha! loveyou mucho!
