potty trained --- yes, she is!

been wanting to blog about this pero nalilimutan ko parati, finally eto na sya! my bebe is now potty trained! yey!! super aliw. she officially did it when she turned 22 months. not bad diba? hay, nakaka proud. mind you, we did not use a potty chair on the floor ha, we used the toilet training seat talaga and she liked it!!

it started when one time, after she pooped sa diaper nya, we told her to call yaya before so we would know. eh obvious kasi sya when she is having her moment eh, she would just stand sa corner and ayaw magpa hawak talaga so while nag mo-moment sya, i was showing her yung toilet training seat nya then his dad carried her eh sakto, she was able to do it while seating sa toilet mismo so siguro she got aliw as well. after that, we didn't force her, medyo sablay lagi kasi tapos na everytime she reaches the toilet. so okay  lang, walang pressure.

last december, when her yaya took a vacay, sophie stayed with my parents and sis in bataan. so my sister talaga literally nagpaka yaya for her. dun nya sobra na practice using the toilet. naaliw daw sa pag flush so she will say lang "tita, pooping" then  my sis would take her and success naman! ang galing diba? nakakabilib eh, kasi we didn't force her naman or anything.


now, super comfy na sya kasi everytime she feels like pooping, she would call her yaya's attention and mauuna pa sya and then she would reach for her training seat and put it on top of the toilet. she'll be like, "yaya, pophie, poop, poop!" tapos when she's done, she would say "done na!"  sobra sobrang cute! haha.

nakaka happy diba? i mean, medyo nabawasan ang diaper consumption which means, savings! ang saya! medyo di pa nya namaster yung sa wiwi eh, once in a while, sumasakto but still, most of the time, sablay. but it is perfectly okay.  sabi nga ng pedia nya, mas mahirap to control yung urine eh than bowel, so we will take it slow on the urine. i don't think it would be a big adjustment naman so we will just wait until super ready na sya. besides, mabilis naman matuto ang bagets! haha.
