sophie's corner

sophie and the yaya are both on vacay so finally, i was able to clean up her room. as in sinipag ako plus it did help that both gracie and maqui have blogged about their kiddos' room so i was super inspred talaga to do some clean up so that i can blog about my pupmkin's corner too. gaya-gaya much? haha.

we got her a new bed. we picked a pull out bed since she sleeps with her yaya. actually, we used to have two bunk beds eh but you know, to maximize space, we had to let go of those. aliw tignan because at least now, may area  na for her to play unlike before na super sikip talaga. we also got her a new closet for all her toys and some baby stuff that we no longer use. not enough pa nga kaya in the meantime, while she is away and wala pa ako nabibiling storage box, nasa bed muna ang ibang toys.

one good thing about having pull out bed is that it comes with a built-in cabinet so yung mga books nya, i put them there. kasi talaga as much as possible i really really wanted to save some space pa to make room for her wheeled toys and at the same time, still enough space for her to move around na tingin ko eh na-achieve ko naman.

the three-door closet is where the linens, curtains and other bulky items are stored. the last door on the right is where naman the yaya keeps her clothes. sophie's clothes naman are kept inside her own dresser. naku, she has a lot of clothes! those that are left in the dresser sobrang pili ko na. super hirap mag sort ng clothes! nakakahinayang kasi nakakalakihan. if i keep everything naman, parang bodega na ang peg ko. lol.

see the framed photos? cute no? those are taken by ging lorenzo during sophie's pre-birthday shoot. i think it added some life din to the room. parang if somebody will see it, alam na kay sophie yung room. ikaw na ang may four framed photos and solo at that! haha. nagsusumigaw na this is my roooom!

these hanging stuff are sophie's favorite. i got them from singapore. naghanap talaga ako nyan because gusto sya talaga ni sophie. her pedia's clinic at st. lukes kasi meron nyan and natuwa talaga ako when i saw them in one of the stalls at changi airport. bought them on-sale pa kaya weeeenar talaga! hehe.

here is the happy mommy after the clean up session. it was super tiring but sobrang worth it. i can't wait na makita sya ni sophie next week. yay!
