post wedding surprise

My babe and I were out yesterday when I received an SMS from Oly that goes like this: "Hey sieg! Do you have a copy of the manila bulletin today? Get one if you don't. hahaha! Well, that time, I had no idea, really. So I asked him why and I said, yeah, sureness, will get one or something like that. :) What I did was, I called my sister and asked her if she could get me a copy of the paper and see for herself. I thought Metrophoto was featured in one of the articles or something and Oly was too happy to spread the news and I got too excited for him because I am such a huge fan of their works and I feel that they sooo deserve it and that made me happy.

Here is the thing, though. You see, my babe actually works at MBC and he was telling me the whole time that I was making him kulet to just wait until the next day because for sure he has a copy in the office and he would just see for himself and then tell me afterwards. Yay! Haha. But after a minute, I guess he got curious when I told him that maybe, just maybe, we were part of the article or whatever. I mean, if they got featured, maybe they mentioned our names or made reference to our wedding, or something.

Finally we got hold of the copy and we started browsing every pages until I saw the Preptalk column by John and Benz Rana. I was thrilled. I felt like crying. Haha. It was the sweetest thing, I swear! Coming from a supplier that we admire the most, and knowing that they feel the same way, super big thing for us. All the weddings that they have covered were really outstanding and beyond awesome! Seriously, they could have picked those with exquisite details, high-end venues, you know, the sky-is-the-limit-wedding! But then again, it was not like that all the time. More than the wedding itself, it was the friends that you gained after the whole thing. Real people, genuine kindness, good heart, excellent talent, great minds. Thank you, Metrophoto!
