since there was a power interruption in our place last night, we decided to stay at dusit thani in makati. kasi naman, kawawa si sophie (and si mommy) maiinitan eh. lol.
anyway, i had no high expectations with the hotel since aware naman ako that dusit is quite luma na and you know, comparing it with shangri-la or marriott is not fair. but aside from that, i was thinking maybe they have a good customer service. yun lang, unfortunately, based sa experience namin, they didn't have that as well. really disappointing. we were not asking for a royal treament ha none of that kind. simple things, actually. like when we got to the hotel, nobody assisted us. i had to call pa one of the guys there to help us with the luggage and some of sophie's stuff . when i called the front desk thrice about something, nobody picked up. the phone kept on ringing lang. hay nako.
another thing, i didn't like their brekky selection. first time ko ata not to eat ng sobra to think na breakfast buffet sya. hay, made me miss marriott even more. ohwell. ganun talaga. one thing though, the room naman is quite big, with a decent washroom but the smell of the whole place, ang weird eh --- promise, no kaartehan at all ha, old-ish smell.
the good thing is, sophie enjoyed her stay. kahit na nagloko sya nung gabi because of a very bad cold, super okay naman sya going around the lobby. she liked the carpeted floor. haha. hangkyut-kyut. lookie:
ahm, overall, i am giving dusit 3 stars and i don't think i will consider going back. well, not for now. seriously.
